NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Columbia TriStar "Monty Python & The Holy Grail" Special Edition DVD Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on October 23, 2001 and ends at 11:59 a.m. ET on January 2, 2002 (the "Entry Period"). There are two ways to enter this Sweepstakes: (1) visit www.cthe.com, complete the online Sweepstakes entry form and submit it during the Entry Period, or (2) hand print your name, complete address and telephone number on a 3" x 5" piece of paper, place into an envelope with first class postage and mail to: "Monty Python" DVD Sweepstakes, 3630 Holdrege Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90016. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by January 2, 2002 and received by January 9, 2002. There is a limit of one entry per person, regardless of entry method. Multiple, mechanically reproduced, incomplete, late, stolen, garbled, damaged, misdirected, postage due, or illegible entries are void.

ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents in the U.S. residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and in Canada excluding residents of Quebec, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings), and household members, of Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, The Regan Group, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotion agencies, are not eligible. This Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment ("Sponsor") reserves the right to verify the eligibility qualifications of the winners.

PRIZE/DRAWING DETAILS: Two (2) Grand Prizes, each consisting of a set of 5 limited edition collectible knight figurines plus 1 limited edition collectible figurine of Patsy from Sideshow Toy plus 1 LEGO Studio Kit. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $369/each set. Four (4) First Prizes, each consisting of a LEGO Studio Kit. ARV: $179/each. Two (2) Second Prizes, each consisting of a limited edition figurine of Patsy. ARV: $40/each. Twenty-five (25) Third Prizes, each consisting of 1 Monty Python Playing Cards Gift Set, 1 roll of Monty Python Toilet Paper, and 1 plastic witch's nose fake prop. ARV: $45.94.Ten (10) Fourth Prizes, each consisting of the CTHE Monty Python and the Holy Grail Special Edition DVD. ARV: $29.95/each. Twenty-five (25) Fifth Prizes, each consisting of 1 copy of the book The First 28 Years of Monty Python. ARV: $21.95. Total ARV of all prizes: $3531. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

A random drawing to choose the winners will be held on or about January 16, 2002 from among all eligible online and mail-in entries received by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding with regard to all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by certified mail and/or telephone and will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and, where applicable, publicity release, which must be returned within 10 days of notification or an alternate winner will be selected. If Sponsor is unable to contact winner, or the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be awarded to an alternate. Taxes on prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of each winner. All prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied. All details of prizes not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and consent to the use of his/her name/likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Entrants hereby release Sponsor, The Regan Group, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective employees, directors, officers, shareholders, agents, successors and assigns (collectively "Releasees"), from any claims, losses, actions, or damages, whether actual, incidental or consequential, arising out of or relating to entrantsÕ participation in this Sweepstakes, or use of any prize awarded herein. Releasees and any telephone network or service providers are not responsible for: late, lost, illegible, incomplete, misdirected or postage due mail, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information; human, printing or other errors; technical or other malfunctions; lost/delayed data transmission; omission, interruption, deletion, line failures of any telephone network; malfunction of computer equipment or software; inability to access any web site or online service; or any injury or damage to entrantÕs or any other personÕs computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in connection with this Sweepstakes. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any web site associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of this Sweepstakes and processing of entries per these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in SponsorÕs sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing to award all remaining prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect, entries received for the applicable drawing prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an email address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.
